Inside the US Embassy in Beijing they are surprisingly friendly. Outside however, its depressing to see the throngs of Chinese trying to get a visa. Thanks Mom & Dad for the US passport!
Inside it is all Americans. It's strange to me that when you're at an embassy you're considered technically on "American soil", so it's like a portal to a little America surrounded by China.

Are the people at the US embassy mostly Chinese or American?
