To me, Korea seems like China of the future -- or maybe Japan. It's squeaky clean, the people are super polite, the subway is expansive and smells fresh, the women are fashionable, there are mirrors everywhere, and no cars honk their horns.
After a river cruise we headed over to Hongdae -- a lively area near Hongik University. Our guidebook said people were judged by how much was on their table so we ordered a large fruit platter with drinks and waited... nothing. Eventually Matt worked his game and next we knew a couple of young ladies were taking us to a local club (they ditched us upon arrival). The music in the club was awesome and Matt and I owned on the upper stage for 4 hours straight.
